If you know about smartwatches...

DH would like a smartwatch for Christmas. I know NOTHING.

He has a Huawei phone. Budget isnt really a problem within reason.

He isnt a massive tech head, the most important things are that it is compatible with his phone and that it looks smarter rather than sportier. It would be used for work.stuff more than fitness.

If anyone could suggest one that would be great..I've looked at the new Samsung Galaxy but reviews seem to.suggest it's better with a samsung phone...

Bump for you OP. I don’t know but I’m covering one of the Samsung ones - I have an iPhone and Apple Music.

DH requested a Withing watch for Xmas. It’s sort of semi-smart- lots of health related features but you can’t do things like send texts. I have an Apple Watch, with more functionality, but you need an iPhone/iPad for that.

I got my dc a Samsung watch. They love it. They have an iPhone. The only downside, as far as I can tell, is you can't use Samsung pay if you are with Lloyd's bank.
They are with Vodafone and apparently you can connect your watch to alexa and use it to phone people. I think that's what they meant anyway. I just nodded my head when they tried to explain.

I think branded watches work best with the same brand phone as you’re able to sync. I’m an Apple user so all my products are the same brand and so is the rest of the family which makes sharing apps etc easier.

I would see what features he is likely to use on the watch then choose which is best.

I wish Apple did a circular face instead of just square. I have a 38mm, anything bigger looks ridiculously big.
