A nice hot bath?
A blanket?
I’ve found myself all day looking toward to going to bed and snuggling under my duvet cover and being cosy which I would not be like in usual times.

purplecorkheart · 24/11/2020 21:30

My duvet atm.

Has anyone tried a weighted blanket?

Comfort telly, like the cheesiest of Hallmark Christmas films.

Switch your brain off and suspend disbelief for an hour and a half. Lovely and comforting.

The duvet, my fluffy dressing gown, my hoodie with fluffy stuff on the inside

I always think when I first put a back pack on it's feels like I'm getting spooned or maybe I'm just super lonely :)

vanillandhoney · 24/11/2020 23:04

Gravity blankets.
Dressing gowns.
Hot water bottles.
Teddy bear bedsheets.
A nice hot bath or shower, especially if you've been out in the cold.

Cats. Cats. Cats. Cats. Oh, and cats.

I feel like I’m weird as I hate hugs.
I do love blankets, soppy films and hot drinks but I don’t associate anything pleasant with hugs. Hugs are tolerated, not enjoyed.
I can’t be the only one surely?

plutodust · 24/11/2020 23:32

I love hugs but hate heavy clothes, duvets and blankets. I often push the duvet off when I go to bed. I don't drink tea of coffee so I'm not sure how to get my much needed hug fix.

Twistered · 24/11/2020 23:34

Soup
Toast
Dog at my feet
Ah bliss. One big hug right there

Nope. I don't really enjoy hugs either.
Twistered · 24/11/2020 23:39

I absolutely love hugs. But only with close family etc.
I wouldn't be one for hugging colleagues or randomised unless either I or them needed comforted.

ladybird69 · 25/11/2020 00:10

I hate hugs. If I get to the point of needing a hug I take myself away for a few days under a duvet den with dvds and hot chocolate. However after one particular piece of news my friends husband wrapped me in his arms just like a baby and I bawled like one. Never been held like that before or after it was a true caring hug and I’ll never forget it.

tobee · 25/11/2020 00:41

Hugs have been in short supply this year

Onedropbeat · 25/11/2020 00:43

Roasted chestnuts by a cosy fireside

Peace and quiet reading a book

(For me anyway)

Audreyseyebrows · 25/11/2020 01:48

A good book
Listening to music
Slippers
Hot chocolate
Having a shower after a run
Blankets
Sitting in front of the fire
