How to stop thinking about this?

Divorced. Got a 3 year old I have 80pc custody of. I won't have another child for numerous reasons such as age and I dont enjoy relationships my child has older grandparents and some cousins who he won't know due to family issues. Hes basically going to be an only child with little family. I feel sad for him.

I am an only child and I do envy people with lots of siblings but sometimes I think my childhood wasn't very good and assume it might have been easier with brothers and sisters. But now I would say I have made my own family and my friends are also like family to me. Your little one will be fine

I'm too lazy to have another child aswell

My ds is the same...I have been sad for him in the past but it seems to matter less as he's got older and he has a busy life with his own friends etc. I feel more sad at the prospect of what little close family we have dying...that will be really hard for me I hope my ds will be making his own family by then.🌸 You can't keep beating yourself up about it Op.
