Hi,

Since we can't have a holiday abroad next year due to the uncertainty of everything going on we have decided on a staycation,
We will have a nearly 3 year old and 15 month old.
We are considering haggerston but wondered if it's worth it? I'm trying to convince my husband who isn't as keen as me!
Please let me know your reviews for yous that have been!

Thanks in advance

I found it all abit grim, but tbh I’m not a big fan of holiday parks so I’m quite biased. Bingo in the hall of an evening and arcades everywhere.

We've just come back from there but getting an opinion depends on what you are looking for. We don't have (young) children but found the site good, with OK facilities but it's a Haven site so no surprise there. Lots of coast to explore, Holy Island is great for walks and beachcombing, Berwick we were surprised at - it was a really nice little town. Not ones for evening entertainment (even if there had been any) so can't give an opinion. we even drove over the border into Scotland!!! Grin

What is it you want from a holiday? It's certainly not Centre Parks! We had a new caravan, but that meant it was situated far away from the central complex. If you book through Hoseason you need to take EVERYTHING from tea towels to soap and loo roll to bin liners and tin openers.
We liked the onsite pony ride for the kids (20 min photo opportunity) and we booked one of the nature tots sessions. We liked the swimming pool but DD is a real "water baby". Other than that we did local sightseeing.
Out of school term time you can get some great deals. I liked it but I wouldn't go back.
