Crocheters; I need suggestions where to look for a praying mantis pattern please

Dd2's Christmas present has arrived today -it's an orchid mantis so I can't stash it under the bed for her to unwrap.

I thought I could have a go at crocheting one to wrap instead but am not sure where to look for a pattern. I'd prefer free or very cheap if possible.

It's a complicated thing to design, so I don't think you'd find a free one easily!

Thanks chickenshedinthesky I wasn't sure where look look. I'll see if there are any others on there & then probably give that one a whirl. Hopefully I'll be able to switch colours a little to try and make it look like hers a bit.

Someone recommended Ravelry on a thread I posted a week or two ago; I'll sign up & have a look on there too.

Isn’t it brilliant that no matter what random thing we want to crochet, someone somewhere has had the same thought and has sat down and written a pattern
