For various reasons, I've had a full range of blood tests recently. I half expected to be on the way to menopause as I'm 41 and I've been having temperature fluctuations regularly (and everyone has been suggesting it's hot flushes).
When I spoke to the gp about it she sounded kind of surprised by the hormone results and described them as "perfect". I was curious as to what they were as a result - did she mean perfect for my age or perfect for younger women (but didn't want to annoy her by asking), but for slightly unrelated reasons, I've been sent a full print out today.
The hormone results are the only ones with no normal range beside them, and Google is just kinda confusing me. Some of the results are technically outside the ranges I'm seeing, but in the opposite direction than you'd expect of someone perimenopausal? I think? Can anyone shed any light? I don't know if it's because the tests were run about 3 weeks into my cycle. Day 22 I think.
