So a robin got in to the kitchen and I believe that is a bad omen. But it’s a robin and that means a loved one is near says on goggle good luck so which one is it? (I had a bird come into my old house where I lived with my mom and a few months to a year later she died) I can’t shake that feeling off someone in the house will die and there is only me and the kids 😢 anyone else had a robin come in?

Robins are bolshy little birds, if they come in your house it's because they've spotted an opportunity for food, or they are curious.

It doesn't mean anything more. They are just birds.

It’s a Robin, they’re bold, they do what they like. It’s nice when they say hello.

Bonkers to be that superstitious about it OP.

My cat brought a dead ronin in last year.
On Christmas Eve.
We had a lovely Christmas and no one died. Please don’t worry about superstition.

robin. A ronin would have been way more impressive!

DMum's next door neighbours have a very tame robin - it hops into the house and eats cheese! They are lovely, happy people so the robin doesn't seem to have brought them any bad luck.

Robins popped in all the time to my mum’s house. It doesn’t mean anything at all. I mean, she died, but that was going to happen anyway.

I love Robins and would love it if this happened to me! The old superstition about them being dead loved ones reminds me of my Nana who always said they were people who’d passed away coming back to see us. Even though I know it’s probably nonsense, seeing them reminds me of her.
