Dental crown - aaaagh

I had a crown fitted in July (after root canal in February, then lockdown happened) - was uncomfortable when fitted but exactly like another crown I have so I wasn't overly fussed and thought it would settle down.

The past few weeks it's felt sore but today it kills when I bite down. I keep my teeth clean, use soft floss, antibac mouthwash.

My dentist isn't seeing anyone and I don't know what to do - can't afford private. Anyone been here? Did it sort itself out?

Im not sure a dentist can refuse emergency work now , round here our nhs and private surgeries are working ( i had major work last week) . I would ask him what he suggests you do

Mt dentist has made me an appointment today for Tuesday and I'm not as urgent as you. They should see you

I called - they've put me in for Monday after I had a bit of a meltdown. Ordered a mouthguard too as I'm a bit of a night grinder!
