He’s been a feature for Aldi for the last 3(?) years

For those who dont get it: The Aldi advert for the last couple of years has revolved around Kevin the carrot and his carrot family.
Lidl just had a carrot with a face like Kevin getting stabbed and saying they have no time for cutesy carrots!

Isn't this the whole point of the advert? The whole concept is a pisstake of the standard Christmas advert.

I think they'vemade their advert just a little too similar to the other annoying ones, in that it's just as annoying and not quite funny enough.

I have a theory that the person who did the Lidl ad is either the sibling of the person who came up with Kevin. Or a person who didn't get the job originally.

I think it was very obvious that they are having a dig at the other supermarkets adverts . Actually as Lidl and Aldi are really each others biggest opposition that’s where they should be aiming their advertising .

It’s a piss take about other supermarkets too. Tesco jumpers, M&S ect

It’s not secret, it’s literally the entire premise of the advert.
