My aunt loves jigsaws and we are looking to get her equipment so she can make her own jigsaws at home. Does such a thing exist? Thank yo

They did this on one of those programmes “how do they make...?” If I recall, it’s just a jigsaw (as in a fixed blade) and a man making the shapes free hand. I suspect that
now a cad programme and a robot does it all so everyone is the same.

A cricut machine

If all else fails she can send her own photos off to be made into jigsaw puzzles.

Or she can play with Magic Jigsaws online - you don't need a huge table, no pieces go missing and you can make jigsaws of your own photos. I'm addicted Blush

I would also think a cricut would do it.

Probably quite big and expensive.

I hate to state the obvious but the traditional method is using a jigsaw... paste picture onto board and cut

FelicityBeedle · 23/11/2020 22:38

Well not a jigsaw I suppose, I’ve seen antique ones which were almost like treadle band saws. Sorry I’m aware this is no help whatsoever

www.puzzlemachine.com

There is a kids art play place here that makes a jigsaw out of the kids artwork. It’s always the same pattern though.

A silhouette cameo would do it, but the key is having a jigsaw pattern to cut.
