My boyfriend enjoys playing guitar and has mentioned that he'd like to learn how to play the banjo, so I'm thinking of getting one for him this Christmas. I've had a look online and as I know nothing about music I'm completely lost with the different amount of strings, closed backs and open backs, different makes, etc. Could anyone recommend a decent beginner banjo for £200 ish?
