Do you reckon my dinners are ok to eat. Or do they need to be binned

I’ve just had a baby so batch cooked loads of meals. I think the freezer door got left open very slightly a couple of times through the night. Nothing defrosted completely but there was a bit of water on the floor and the freezer was a bit icy. Do you think all the meals I cooked will be ok? Will be so upset if they all go to waste!

Your meals are perfectly fine.

Congrats on your new baby and I agree with PP, I think your dinners are going to be fine. Enjoy!

Totally fine I reckon!

Fine, but as with all food being reheated, make sure it's piping hot

Funnily enough I had to defrost our freezer last night because of exactly the same thing! All the contents were still frozen and have been returned to it or put in fridge.

Thanks everyone! I went for it tonight with the one that went in first. So far so good Grin

As long as there are still ice crystals in the meals then they are totally safe to freeze again. Just make sure you heat properly when you're going to eat them.

Husband is a Chef, he says it will be fine.
