My little boy was pretending to be a dinosaur, he bit it and the white stuff inside is burning his tongue. Any ideas?

Sorry no idea but hopefully bumping this for you

We call it spurge here. I’m pretty sure it is poisonous. The sap is like latex and quite burny.

I would call 111 for advice or pop down to walk in centre

I checked on a plant app thing. It's Lenten rose, it is poisonous. But he didn't eat it, just bit it and spat it out, so it's ok I think.

I don't think that is Lenten Rose. It looks more like euphorbia (spurge). It is pretty toxic! I'd definitely make sure he has washed his hands thoroughly and I'd be giving his mouth a good check for blisters.

Agree, that's Euphorbia not Lenten Rose (which is Hellebore with long serrated leaves). All of this family have caustic white sap. He should be OK if he didn't actually eat any, but as PP advise, check for blisters on his lips.

(Plant apps aren't very good at identifying plants tbh, I wouldn't rely on them.)

Yup, it's euphorbia which is at best an irritant and at worst quite caustic, keep a close eye and don't delay getting medical help if there's any swelling.
