Can anyone recommend an alarm clock?

Dd(9) needs a basic alarm clock. Just mains powered, easy to set / change, dim (otherwise she’ll try and read by its light) and with that feature where it always sets to the right time.

I’ve looked and looked and can’t find one that does all these things. Does anyone have one they would recommend?

My kids use Alexa

I don’t have an Alexa, and I’d rather not give her access to something like that overnight as I suspect she could spent hours playing with it when she’s meant to be sleeping. Unless there’s a way to deactivate it at night and still have the alarm?

Alexa, the Echo dot is very cheap and not really much for her to "play" with (unless she spend hours asking her questions!)

With a Hue bulb you can also get the gentle wake up as the light go up.

I’ll have a look at Lumie - haven’t heard of those.

Thing is, she absolutely would spend hours asking Alexa questions...

I’m not sure she needs the light wake up, a beep would be fine, I just want it to be mains powered, easy to use and automatically set the time.
