Calmer earbuds - any good for autism?

Hi,

I’m autistic and struggle with noise sensitivity and keep seeing adverts popping up for Calmer earbuds that help with noise sensitivity! Anyone have any experience with these? Would be more than willing to try them as it’s an issue I’ve had for so many years, and I’m finally at the stage where I’m thinking “right, I’ve had it - no more” and knowing I need to take some initiative on managing the more stubborn symptoms!

I bought some for my adult DS who I believe is Autistic (my DD is also and uses ear protectors).

I bought them because he has really bad tinnitus as well as sensitivity to loud noise and unfortunatley he works in construction so it's very stressful . The jury is out as yet, OP. He is seeing an audiologist next week for assessment though.

I thought they were worth a try; the ones I bought were about £20. www.flareaudio.com/pages/calmer-life]]

This is my 1st week using the ones above - I haven't noticed any immediate difference but it does take a while to get used to wearing them.

Do they rub or itch at all?
