Where would you look for an ordinary everyday watch?

It's for my Dad. He has a good watch which he hardly ever wears but he wants an everyday watch "he doesn't have to worry about".

A classic style, leather strap, not flashy, not fussed about brand. I'd prefer not to get "cheap" but he doesn't want expensive.

Argos.

Daniel Wellington. Leather straps, plain faces, not flashy at all but good quality. I love mine.

Look at Skagen. Lovely simple classic styles, not too OTT, good quality but not horrendously expensive.

I don't know what an every day budget would be, but mondaine watches would fit the bill style wise!

Argos

I get my work watches from Argos, they sell Timex and similar brands which are fine for everyday wear.

I was going to say skagen too. I have a lovely simple leather strap skagen watch

Skagen are great. Stylish. Middle of the road. Good quality.

Debenhams have a good range.

swatch.

They replace the batteries free.

I currently have two. One leather strap, one metal.
