What to get for mother in laws birthday

My mother in laws birthday in coming up. I haven't a clue what to get the woman. My partner got her a candle set so a candle set is out from me.

It's also my mother's birthday soon too and my partner got my mother something. Now if feel obliged to get something for his mother. I haven't a clue what to get her.

Well candles are just about the most generic gift out there, so get her similar. Get chocolates.

Why are you getting separate presents?

A big bunch of flowers. Or a voucher for a beauty treatment.

Maybe some perfume, or nice bottle of wine, or a voucher for a manicure? Hard to say without knowing much about her.

A scarf or shawl. M n S do nice leather gloves. A Boots No 7 gift set? This time of year the shops are full of gift sets.

Surely the candle was a joint present from your boyfriend and you? Don’t fall into the trap of buying and remembering to buy for your boyfriends relatives. Him buying your mother, you buying for your mother, and vice versa- nah, don’t start that nonsense.
