Would you buy a non standard construction?

I have fell in love with a house that is brick built but then has concrete block and then is concrete rendered! It has no cavity wall so is deemed a non standard construction (it does have insulation but not cavity wall!) would you put in an offer?

As an estate agent I wouldn’t rule it out but I would do my own research into lenders likelyhood of lending on that type of construction. There’s a street near me that are all non standard construction but not classed as high risk so lenders will lend against them no problem. even if you are a cash buyer check this out as whether or not it an be mortgaged will effect how easily you sell it on. I’m not familiar with the type of construction you have described so can’t offer any other advice I'm afraid.

No, purely for the potential difficulty of selling it on.
