How much do you normally spend for your partner/children/other family members/friends on: Birthdays, Christmas and Weddings?

For me it would be £50-£100 on special occasions.

My partner: birthdays £500 xmas £200

Parents/siblings/in laws/friends: £30 each for xmas and birthdays

Nieces/nephews: £50 each birthdays & christmas

Weddings I give £100.

Weddings we give £50 minimum depending on how close we are to the couple.

Birthdays- DP: £500 (we usually buy city breaks away for each other). Other family members around £50 each

However SIL is currently pregnant so when our niece/nephew comes along we'll probably spend £30 on S/BIL and £50-£60 on niece/nephew

Christmas- DP: £80, other family members £50

We really reign it in for each other on Christmas.

DH: Around £80-£100 birthday, £50-£70 Christmas
DCs: Around £150 birthday and Christmas
MIL and my parents: Up to £50
Other children in the family: around £30
Weddings: Usually £50

Oh, friends usually £20 birthdays, we don't buy at Christmas since we've all had children.

DH: birthdays around £50, Christmas around £700
DM & PiL: £100 pp
Other family members: only buy Christmas gifts for my DB & his DP: £25 each
Children in the family & close friend’s children: £20 birthdays & £20-50 Christmas
Weddings: £50-100 depending how close we are
Friends: cards only

DC: £120 xmas (presents, traditions) & £300 birthday (party, traditions, presents)

DH: £70 xmas (presents, traditions) & £100 birthday (presents, meal out)

Family: £10 average (was more when I was young but I cant afford £50pp now I have my own family and it adds up fast)

for weddings we give gifts not money, price of gifts vary because its based on the person not the cost.
