Who has been your all-time Strictly favourite pairing?

And why? And which of your favourite couple's dances have been the best in your opinion? I am SO bored, please play along with me :).

I watched last night's episode on catch up, (I'm finding it very flat this year) and ended up seeking out dances from past series.

I think my all time favourite pairing (actually, should probably say I've only watched since 2014) has been Debbie McGee and Giovanni. And my favourite dance of theirs is the Argentine tango. As to why they're my favourite couple - I think because Debbie is a similar age to me, lost her dh shortly before I lost mine, and I just found her inspiring and beautiful to watch.

Louis Smith the gymnast in 2012 with Flavia. Their final dance is the only one I really remember.

Ed Balls & Katya because they had so much fun.
Matt Dawson can’t remember who he was partnered with though.
Sophie Ellis Bextor & was it Brendan?
Yy Darren & Karen they were always a joy to watch with whoever they were partnered with.

I loved Kelly Brook & Brendan - a great looking couple. Was such a shame she had to leave for family reasons as I think they would have won that season.

And in the current series, I'm loving Caroline and Johannes and Bill and Oti

I didn't watch it as far back as Mark and Karen. First series I really watched was with Pasha and Caroline & clearly remember their showdance being amazing. Also agree re Giovanni & Debbie - fantastic pairing.

I quite liked Kevin and Kellie Bright too. I've always liked Kevin but he seems to be one of those people who's loved or hated with no in between.

Make sure you look up the original as they did it again on a later show and it was MUCH slower.

I've remembered another favourite dance - Gio and Georgia's Charleston.

The woman from Sclub7 doing the rhumba, cant remember either of their names but remember their dance!

Jay and Aliona. That Pulp Fiction jive is my favourite ever dance too!

Yes to all mentioned, esp that Pulp Fiction jive. I also loved Jay and Aliona’s tango to When Doves Cry, have rewatched it loads of times 😍

And regularly rewatch Vincent and Flavia’s Argentine tangos, just because! So darn good!

Kelvin and Oti last year. Their first dance, the samba and turning to my dd and both of us were ! Oti is amazing. Her and Bill are fantastic this year and I'm sure they will make the final.

Jay and Aliona because it was lovely to see him grow in confidence and Aliona was long overdue to win. Their Pulp Fiction dance was one I will always remember

Really enjoyed Dev and Diane last year too. They wuz robbed! Aladdin was fab u lous

Great dancers and great chemistry made them memorable

Jill Halfpenny and Darren Bennet. Loved them, their Jive was my favourite ever strictly dance

Chris and Ola were a fun pairing. Their Charleston sticks in my mind.

Definitely Jill & Darren - their jive was amazing!
