Are you happy with your cordless Sharks?

Im looking at this Shark but can’t decide whether to go for it. It’s at the upper end of my budget. My neighbour had a corded lift away Shark which I love but it’s just too heavy. I’m only in a small flat and live on my own and don’t have pets so don’t need something with a long run time or really heavy duty. Has anyone got one of these or similar and would you recommend it? Thanks.

I have the pet version of that one (despite not having any pets!!). I'm happy with it for the most part, the battery life is good, suction fine, and it has a sort of elbow half way down so you can vacuum under sofas etc. very easily.

The only thing I'd say is that the anti hair wrap claim is bollocks. I spend ages physically cutting away hair from the roller with scissors all the time.

I find the hair wrap thing works very well. Never have to unwind hair from the roller like I did with my Dyson

I ordered this and it arrived yesterday. So far I've hovered my whole house, plus downstairs again today and my car. I'm loving it so far.

I have this hoover and i absolutely love it!

I don’t have a cordless but last month my corded Shark stopped working after a slight burning smell occurred. My Shark was 18 months old. After emailing customer services I had a brand new replacement sent out that week. So can’t fault there aftercare.

Thanks so much everyone. I’m going to go ahead and order this one. I like the sound of good customer service too.

We literally bought this same Hoover today. Only tried it once but it seems great so far and folds so really easy to store.

Glad your first impression is good Mama. I’ve just ordered it from argos and will collect it tomorrow.

I really fancy one of these for my stairs but have just ordered the ‘big version’ and can’t justify another. Booooo!

Shark lift away with cord is really poorly designed. It falls over when you 'lift away'

Wish I'd bought cordless.
