At what age do you think boys and girls should stop sharing a bedroom and why?

When they become uncomfortable with it. Because they're uncomfortable with it.

In my house it would have been age 9 as they were more private and would have preferred to dress behind a closed door. Also not want their laundry visible (pants) if someone came into their room.
They wouldn’t have been upset or anything, just I know that would have been their preference.

Would have been 8 for us as DD1 had breast buds and wanted privacy.
It was 10 for me under the same circumstances because the council wouldn't give us a 3 bed until then.

Some people might not have a choice I have an acquaintance whose son and daughter shared a bedroom into their teens because it was a small two bed house which she owned and couldn't afford a bigger house .

I would say about 9/10. But it depends on the children

For social housing purposes there is an age set for boy/girl sharing but age can be lowered due to early puberty so there are guidelines out there on this if it's in anyway helpful.
