17yo DS2 is wfh, socialising online and has barely left the house since March. He seems happy enough in himself and we feel very fortunate that his apprenticeship kept him on but I am ever so concerned that he's getting no daylight, exercise or fresh air.
So, DH and I had decreed that we're going on a family hike and picnic tomorrow. 19yo DS1 was happy with the plan, DS2 not so much but won't refuse to come.
DS1 has just had the notification that he has to isolate due to a positive contact so he can't come (can he?). Do we press ahead and go without him or is it too mean to make DS2 come alone with his aged parents?
If he was doing anything else to be active and/or get outdoors I'd leave him be, but he's not.
