Are they any good? I think my husband would quite like one.

Yes they are fantastic

I had a Tefal actifry, it broke, then got a Philips airfryer and it's loads better! Well worth it imo

Yeah I love mine. Great for baby potatoes, cubed sweet potato etc. Also handy for a quick dinner for kids, instead of using our main oven

Thank you all. Any suggestions for good ones that won’t break the bank?

I have a Tefal actifry 2in1 and I love it! It was pricy but I got it on Amazon and paid monthly for it (£60 X 6 months).
It does the best homemade chips. I do jacket pots and roasted veg.
The 2in1 bit means it has an extra tray so you can cook eg chips in the bottom and fish fingers in the top. As a previous poster said it's great to do a quick freezer meal in without using the oven.
It's easy to use and clean.

I got mine from qvc for about £55
It’s brilliant. It gets used everyday.

I recently got an Instant Pot Vortex, and like it a lot.

For anyone who would like to combine an air fryer with a pressure cooker there's the Instant Pot Crisp - currently £30 off on Amazon, I think (or could be Lakeland). It comes with two lids - one for air frying and the other for the rest.

We have a Phillips one. Lovely for things like chips and goujons etc. sausages too.

This week I cooked a whole chicken in it which was quicker than the oven and very moist!
