Babywipes, take 1 but a whole chunk comes out

Does anyone here have this happen to them? Where you take a baby wipe or 2 and a whole entire chunk of wipes come out. You might only need one or 2 wipes or 3 for like wiping hands as an example or a face or a wet bum. You then pull the chunk apart and put them back into the pack but they can dry out.

Are there any brands of baby wipes where this doesn't happen too?

Washable wipes.

Either buy them or make them yourself.

You'll be quids in, as will the environment.

Happens without fail with Huggies, not so often in my experience with Tesco baby ones (assume because they are thinner!)

Use reusable ones! Wipes are awful for the environment. Cheeky wipes are fantastic. Just chick in with normal washing

I love reusable ones and that's what I use myself at home. I'm a nanny and I suggested reusable wipes before to the parents. They are not interested. They tend to buy the tesco own brand/Fred and flo babywipes.

The Amazon brand ones seem pretty good at not all coming out in a huge clump, still do occasionally get an extra one or two but I’m have been quite pleased with them. Previously used Sainsbury’s ones but our shop hasn’t had them for months

Morrisons are usually better than others for this, because they're less moist.

Just to add I find them wetter than the other brands so even if you accidentally leave the lid open for the day they are fine

Maybe those ones that come in a box with a plastic clasp would be better?

I've recently bought the Aldi ones mamia for the first time. Great wipe but so mkaby come out at the same time every time!!! But easy when folding child with one hand to stop a foot in poo situation 😱

What you need to do is tear the hole the wipes come out a little bit on each side just to widen the hole this will stop them coming out in one clump! Game changer- hard to explain but I'll try to find a link to the hack!!

I have a great tip to pass on.

Store unopened wipes with the opening side face down, then you don’t get under-wetted ones when you first open the pack and sodden ones at the end.

No idea how to solve the multi-wipe clumping though.
