Philips lumea cheaper alternatives

I would love to get a lumea but they are so expensive! There are some cheaper versions on amazon from other random makes (half the price or less) but I'm wondering if they are as effective? Has anyone bought a cheaper one that they can recommend? Thanks!

There are some around the seventy pound mark but I'm wondering if they're any good, they're so much cheaper that the known brand ones

I bought a £50 one, it didn't work. Instead of the Lumea which I think needs using once a fortnight, it needed three times a week, and even after 6 months I doubt think it had made a difference.
