Any doctor or dentist can help me check this lump please?

I was feeling something at the back of my throat and tried to explore it using my finger. I palpated something and checked it in the mirror and found a small lump behind the tonsil. Please let me know if this is something to worry about. Thank you.

You need to contact your GP surgery and ask for an appointment. Any odd lumps anywhere on your body need investigating. Could be nothing, but if it did turn out to be serious the earlier you can be seen the better. Do it right now.

@MrsBirkett That is what I thought. But getting an appointment now with the Doctor is quite difficult due to the pandemic.
Some thoughts here about what kind of lump is this will be very much appreciated. Thanks.

They'll probably give you a video consult no problem with the possibility of email that photo. I've been referred to Maxillofacial in the hospital with a lump on my lip and I'm having a video consult in December.

Can you get a dentist to look
They look in mouths all day every day and would in a better position to refer you to a specialist if that’s needed

Thing is we can’t tell you anything. A dentist/ doctor needs to look and probably touch it
And ask you questions about it- questions that we might not know to ask
