I thought getting a new mattress was supposed to make your back better, not worse!
We got a new mattress just over a week ago. A good quality, pocket sprung one. Wasn't cheap. It certainly feels firm to sleep on but we both like a firm surface and the old one was firm too. But every morning my upper back is so, so sore. Doesn't matter how I sleep, it hurts. Can't put the old one back on the bed as it was taken away for recycling. The company we bought from says you can swap after 30 days if you're not getting on with your new mattress but another 3 weeks of waking up in pain is not appealing.
Hate mattress toppers and memory foam - far too hot and sweaty.
Please someone tell me it gets better.
