Out of date pancakes

I just ate some toaster pancakes which were very out of date! Do you think I’ll be okay?

They were in the freezer and the date on them was august so I thought they would be fine, now I realise after eating them that it was august last year

They tasted fine but were a little stale!

If it was raw chicken I’d be suggesting you take a bowl upstairs with you. Pancakes? Just flour, egg and water already precooked? I think you’ll live.

If from the freezer too it should be fine.

Glad you're ok.

Frozen food keeps more or less indefinitely. The quality can deteriorate but it shouldn't make you ill.

@user127819 oh really? That’s interesting to know, I’ve always thrown stuff out that’s been in there more than a few months
