Out of date pancakes

I just ate some toaster pancakes which were very out of date! Do you think I’ll be okay?

They were in the freezer and the date on them was august so I thought they would be fine, now I realise after eating them that it was august last year Confused

They tasted fine but were a little stale!

We'll miss you.
I hope you have your affairs in order.

🤭

If it was raw chicken I’d be suggesting you take a bowl upstairs with you. Pancakes? Just flour, egg and water already precooked? I think you’ll live.

If from the freezer too it should be fine.

Thanks everyone! I needed to hear that I was being stupid. Now I can get on with my day 😂

Flowers Glad you're ok.

Frozen food keeps more or less indefinitely. The quality can deteriorate but it shouldn't make you ill.

@user127819 oh really? That’s interesting to know, I’ve always thrown stuff out that’s been in there more than a few months
