The ones where they give you all the dried fruit in the correct measurements etc.
We got one from Sainsbury's a few years back and it was fine but we haven't seen it in store for the last few years.
Any suggestions?

I've seen them in Waitrose.

Waitrose - we get one every year, always excellent.

Another vote for the Waitrose one. It was on offer at £10 as well last week.

Another vote for the Waitrose one. It was originally branded as a Delia Smith one when it first came out and is her recipe. I've used it for at least 6 years. Would definitely recommend.

If you want a lovely Christmas cake , though not a kit, google the Nigel Slater small Christmas cake recipe from the guardian. It’s delicious, he uses really lovely fruit, golden sultanas, sour cherries etc and it makes a gorgeous cake.

Thank you all, just bought the Waitrose one. It says the fruit has already been soaked in brandy, does that mean I don't need to add more? We don't drink brandy and don't want to buy a bottle just for one cake.

Nope it's all there in the bag. Just add eggs and orange peel.

@Fuss
I don't think there is any brandy in the kit but it says the fruit has been soaked in brandy.
