Both!

Sohardtochooseausername · 19/11/2020 19:39

I like cats better as a pet for me. Much easier to look after. But I like dogs.

WisestIsShe · 19/11/2020 19:39

Dog. Surely there isn't a choice? You choose a dog or a cat chooses you?

Santaisironingwrappingpaper · 19/11/2020 19:42

4 ddogs here.
1 dcat.
1 dkitten on Saturday!!

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 19/11/2020 19:43

Dog

mbosnz · 19/11/2020 19:45

I'm a cat girl.

Don't have to be walked, way easier to litter train, tidier bundle on the bed. . .

Dogs are nice though, they have their own merits!

merlotormalbec · 19/11/2020 19:51

We were torn. We wanted a dog but we both work full time and had never had a pet before so we decided to get a cat. best decision ever. He's the best little cat in the world. Were obsessed with him ♥️

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/11/2020 20:26

I don’t think it matters. I’m a cat person so I’d have a cat.

SophieB100 · 19/11/2020 20:27

Cat
No contest.

Sparklingbrook · 19/11/2020 20:27

Why do you ask?

Imissmoominmama · 19/11/2020 20:28

I honestly couldn’t choose one or the other.

RandomMess · 19/11/2020 20:29

Tough choice...

Glad I have both!

pussycatinboots · 19/11/2020 20:33

Cat.

StillMedusa · 19/11/2020 23:15

Both!
My dog loves me more than any human being ever could or will (sorry dh but it's true)
My cats remind me that I am a mere mortal here to serve their will and be judged accordingly! But when they decide to give me some affection I feel honoured Grin

thegcatsmother · 20/11/2020 01:38

Cats all the way. They are special, and when my feline overlord waits for me to go to bed and goes with me, and then falls asleep with his legs draped over me, it's great.

grassisjeweled · 20/11/2020 01:40

Cat probably.

Maybe a dog when the kids are older. And I can wfh all the time.

Lardlizard · 20/11/2020 17:59

I love both but, obv cats are easier
I know what you mean about it’s more of an honour in a way when a cat decides to say sit in your lap

I love both, but if I could only choose one, cat.

Terralee · 20/11/2020 18:01

Well I have a cat.

mylaptopismylapdog · 20/11/2020 18:03

Like both but my only dog was better company and better for my health waking got me out of the house to enjoy the countryside.

Mumtumwobble · 20/11/2020 18:05

100% dog. Cats freak me out, they’re too unpredictable particularly kittens.

hiredandsqueak · 20/11/2020 18:08

We have a dog, I'm scared of cats so dog every time for me.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 20/11/2020 18:08

Current evidence in my house says one of each - CatBastard is sitting next to me on the couch, and ddog is just being given her tea, by dh.

We are considering a second dog though - we had to have one of our dogs put down in January this year - she has left a big gap in our lives, and we are starting to feel it is time for a second dog.
