Where is the mousey mother f*ker hiding?

Opened the back door a couple of weeks ago and saw a wee mousey run in the house (next door has had a huge hedge cleared so assume it came from there). Cant find the mousey MF anywhere and now it’s taunting me. It leaves 2 droppings every night one at the kitchen door (which is closed) and one near the kitchen sink. Have cleaned the house from top to bottom, have emptied every cupboard out and there are no signs of chewing, droppings or any smell. There are no holes as we filled everything with expanding foam when we did the house refurb. I’ve put traps out, PB and now choc and every morning without fail, nothing in the traps and just the 2 droppings. Where could the MF be hiding?

Under your fridge freezer. There's a ridge that he'll be hiding on. I speak from experience!

Can you borrow a friend’s cat?

Do you have a piano ? We had mouse find it’s home in ours we could hear the classy little fecker scrattling about but of course couldn’t get at him.
Shut the cat in the lounge a few nights with him and alas he was no more

Have you checked behind the kick boards in your kitchen?

Fingerbobs · 19/11/2020 19:14

YY to the kickboards, DH saw one peeping over ours last night Shock

Behind the kick boards under the dishwasher.

Fridge/freezer are built in and I’ve had all the kick boards off and there is nothing there. I just can’t understand where the MF is.

When we had a cat she would let mice eat her food. Hopeless. We got a plug in rodent repellent. Seems to be working.

Well, they can fit in tiny holes.

Humane trap?
