Having a baby.

devildeepbluesea · 19/11/2020 16:20

Continued good health for another 45 years.
A secure, interesting and rewarding job.
A nice, warm low-maintenance home.
Unlimited exercise opportunities (e.g. gym, pool, good running / cycling countryside within easy access).
About 9 dogs.
Enough money to not worry.

Looking at that I'm not doing too badly all things considered. Although I need about 8 more dogs.

Same. Pre-covid I had close to that. Health, good work life balance, no significant money worries (by which I mean we are by no means minted but dont have to worry about unexpected Bill's, have some savings etc), health happy kids

Covid f'ed that all up but that's mostly because we're both NHS and work in specialties that have been hammered by covid. Now we're exhausted shells of human beings having to listen to all the bat shit anti maskers/anti vaxxers who want to try and dominate the covid rhetoric whilst we slog our guts out on the front line.

So actually right now what would make me happy is for people to follow the bloody rules and stop trying to make out it's a plandemic that infringes their human rights

In the moment, like right now, I'm happy.

The woodburner is going, I'm toasty warm, DH and DS are here and we are all just chilling on our laptops and chatting, and we are ordering a takeaway to be delivered for tea. I'm truly happy.

Another baby so I can experience it again
I'm missing it so much
A dog
A lovely partner who I can have fun with and company with would be nice but that is harder to get

Nicknamegoeshere · 19/11/2020 16:26

To not be without my children.

Tigger85 · 19/11/2020 16:28

Spending time with ds
dogs
Playing guitar
Riding bikes
Having another living baby would make me happy

nancybotwinbloom · 19/11/2020 18:36

Continued Heath for all my family. Nothing else comes close

AnyFucker · 19/11/2020 18:39

Health for all my loved ones. Everything else can be worked on.

Fatted · 19/11/2020 18:40

Being alone.

Sideorderofchips · 19/11/2020 19:07

To have never met the woman who ruined our lives.

YanTanTethera01 · 19/11/2020 19:10

A cure for my daughter's HS.
A miniature dachshund.
No money worries.

motorcyclenumptiness · 19/11/2020 19:16

Enough money to have independence, security and choice

Itstartedinbarcelona · 19/11/2020 19:16

Time off work seems to be what makes me happiest at the moment, but I appreciate I’m lucky to have a job. We have plans in place to retire early but it’s still 10-15 years away realistically.

HardlyEver · 19/11/2020 19:16

Winning the Booker Prize.

Ohalrightthen · 19/11/2020 19:17

For my kitchen extension to be finished so i can gtf out of my parents' house

Rockbird · 19/11/2020 19:18

Someone to come and declutter my house and prepare it for sale. The clutter and stress of it all will finish me faster than COVID and we haven't even put it on the market yet.

Lozz22 · 19/11/2020 19:18

To be able to fall Pregnant and bring a healthy Baby home for once

shellby28 · 19/11/2020 19:20

A dog. That's it, I'm not worried about money or a fancy house. But a dog would make a huge difference to me physical and mental health
