(4am) why are you still awake?

I can't sleep- I have horrid insomnia generally and have fallen into the bad habit lately of sleeping during the day and going to bed late.

Feeling a bit anxious too (suffer from panic attacks) but that's pretty normal for me! Just not a nice feeling Sad

Hoping to get to the dentist tomorrow as I have had bad toothache for a while now.

Its midnight here. Son just got home from work. I stay up, have him a hot dinner waiting, and wash and dry his uniform to have it ready for tomorrow. He eats and goes to bed because he has to be up and online for school at 8am.

Feeding my 5 week old DD and wondering whether i'll manage to get a couple of hours sleep in later today AND finish cleaning the bathroom.

Flowers for everyone feeling anxious or depressed out there. You're not alone. X

@FTMF30 just test now. And tell us what the results are! Grin

@Nicknamegoeshere They wouldn't.

Sorry to hear about the pain some of you are suffering. I'm another parent on night shift. DS, one month old, has been up for about 45 minutes. Fed, winded, changed, winded, fed again, winded, rocked. Just put him down and waiting to see if he stays down this time.

DD woke for a bottle an hour ago and went straight back to sleep but for some reason I can't...
Hope everyone gets back to sleep quickly from now

Worried about family, dh was an arse last night (and no doubt will be this morning too).

@Nicknamegoeshere - they definitely won't. Please do speak to your GP about how you are feeling. In the mean time, Samaritans 116123. Take care x

CAT.
Neglected to lock him in so cat woke me up at 3:58pm (loud scratching door). Out of a very deep sleep. Not worried about anything, just don't sleep. I kept trying (waiting) to fall sleep again until about 15 minutes ago. Probably will get up to do some work. If I have any caffeine I won't even manage a nap later, so pondering what to drink.

Woke up and remembered I hadn't put last night's dinner in the fridge that was left cooling in the garage. Did that, now I'm wide awake.

@FourPlatinumRings It's positive😱. Only just started TTC so I'm quite shocked it's happened so quickly!

My beautiful baby boy was born and died on Saturday. He was so poorly, and far too early. He lived for an hour and a half.

I've been up a while, also wondering if my family would be better off without me, trying not to think about it because my DS1 loves me so much, but I'm not being very good at loving him this week.

Can I recommend a weighted blanket? I was becoming an insomniac and this has really helped me

I'm so sorry to hear about the pain so many of you are suffering.

For those bleary eyed mother's feeding babies multiple times through the night : it will pass. I know you know that, but in the dead of night it can feel like it will never end.

AlexaPlayWhiteNoise I'm so sorry to hear about your beautiful son. Were you able to hold him during those precious 90 minutes? Your family will absolutely not be better off without you, but I understand that life must feel impossible at the moment. Flowers

FTMF30 Congratulations on your happy news. You must be in shock.

@FTMF30 Congratulations!!! Smile 🎉

Thanks @TheRogueApostrophe. This isn't even the hardest bit- I fully expect to hit the four month sleep regression with a bang around February.

@AlexaPlayWhiteNoise So sorry to hear that Flowers. Do you have a name for him?

Sorry for your loss @Namechange8471. Flowers

Hope you get through today as easily as possible @user1471549213 and that your little one feels better soon.

Oh @AlexaPlayWhiteNoise I am so very sorry to hear about your baby. I hope that you got the chance to make some memories with your baby before he passed.

Your family would absolutely not be better off without you. I can't imagine the feelings you are experiencing right now and life must seem pretty hopeless but your other little one needs you too and will help you through this awful time. Mind yourself.

@AlexaPlayWhiteNoise I'm so sorry. I feel completely like this too but trying to keep going for my daughter. I don't know if I can.
I can't begin to imagine how hard it is for you. Life is so unfair x
