Im in a real rabbit hole with car seats.

I need a 360 rotation one as i have a 3 door

Dp doesnt necessary need a rotating seat for his car.

I need one for each car or ill be running back and forward swapping between the cars and i dont want to be doing that.

I cant spend mega bucks due to needing 2, one of the school mums recommended the cuggl owl, she got in a crash and the paramedic said the seat didnt budge and most definitely saved his life/injurys.

I dont have a clue where to start, i want one thats safe but not anymore than 150/200

I’m going to sound awful. But absolutely no.
Your friend was incredibly lucky. Cuggl rebrand team ted car seats, which come through as other well known brands like mother carea own and nania as well as Halfords pampero amongst others. They’re minimally tested and have been known to shatter on impact. (Google team tex seat)

I’m basing your budget on you getting 2x owls at 100 each but I would highly recommend if this is your budget you get a Joie tilt for partner and a Joie spin for yours - same price much safer

Definitely not the Cuggl owl! Those seats tend to do extremely poorly in crash tests and are only tested to the legal minimum, as PP said your friend was extremely lucky.

I personally wouldn’t go for a joie spin in a 360 as the handle to turn it is under the seat so in rear facing it wouldn’t be that easily accessible. Britax dualfix has the spin button on the base so can be rather good for 3 door cars but slightly over your budget. Or, another option would be to rear face on the front seat with the airbag off? How old is your DC? If not yet born/newborn joie juva is a good budget seat followed by a 25KG seat (many options!) or 18kg seatbelt seat. Joie do reasonably priced ones and 25KG seats are rather compact so not a problem in the front Smile

I did say to her i was surprised as thought they tested crappy and a load of their stuff was recently recalled. Shes a year old very soon, we still use her car seat from the travel system and shes such a lump now its almost impossible to lift into the car.
I cant spend masses due to needing 2, savings have taken a hit from birthdays and impending xmas so a little on the lower side atm. I was looking at the cosatto one also, they do one that has a 360 spin

Cosatto car seats dont do the best in independent/third party testing so I’d avoid that.

Britax dualfix 2 R is currently £199 at uber kids.

Cybex Sirona S i-size is around £225 so slightly over budget yet worth considering as it is similar prices to the cosatto.

Joie 360 is cheapest at only £180ish, depending on where you buy it from

I was looking at the i size cosatto seats and noted cuggle also does an i size seat aswell. Presumably if the seats isize, its a good choice?
