Ideally asleep by 11, wake up at 7/7.15. So a solid 8 hours. In reality go to sleep 12ish for a 7.15 alarm. So more like 7 hours. Its not quite enough but not terrible.

Always aim for more but I’m rubbish at going to bed at a decent time so about 6

Gilead · 18/11/2020 23:53

Four if I’m lucky, my medication makes it a sod to sleep!

Rememberallball · 19/11/2020 02:16

Usually about 4 hours on a good night!!

Up to bed with toddler DTs between 6-9pm (depending what time they have their last nap - if they have one in the afternoon; what time DH finishes work; whether I’m cooking or not) and watch tv till about 10:30-11pm then sleep till first one wakes up for a feed (usually between 12:30-1:30am and then, if I’m lucky, I’ll get another hour or two in the early morning. Postnatal insomnia is my bed fellow and has been since they were newborns!!

notangelinajolie · 19/11/2020 02:21

Not many, probably 4 or 5 hours.

Sailingtelltales · 19/11/2020 02:30

Up about 2 fall asleep by 2.30am

Husband goes up between 2.30-3am and invariably wakes me. Creaky house. I think it wakes the kids too.

Up at 7.30am for school run.

I always wake at least once in the night at either 4am or 6am.

Before living with him, I’d go to bed about 11pm then up at half seven.

I don’t actually know how I’m surviving on this little sleep. A few times a week I’ll nap about 5pm, with the sort of exhausting unconsciousness you get in first trimester of pregnancy.

Caeruleanblue · 19/11/2020 02:33

Only getting about 4 hours these days, was always a poor sleeper, worse now - not sure if it's age or covid making it worse.

Redlipstick55 · 19/11/2020 03:03

About 4 hours, then I get woken up, then another 3 hours

spongebobscaredypants · 19/11/2020 03:38

@Sailingtelltales what are you doing till that time? Don't know how your coping
