Sandwich wraps

DM is trying to do her but for the environment and so I’m thinking of getting her some sandwich wraps to use instead of clingfilm. Do they actually work in keeping your sandwich bound together? And if so, should I get bees wax or oilcloth?

I've got some beeswax ones, they are fab. I bought a pack of 4 which are all different sizes.

They do keep your sandwich bound together but not quite as well as foil or clingfilm, you just need to be a bit more careful.

One tip that I found out the hard way, don't use them to wrap your hot toast in to take to work, the heat melts the wax Blush

Thanks, I’ll let my DM know that tip!

A reusable sandwich box is probably more practical for transporting potentially messy food. Yiu can get some pretty bamboo ones.

We have the sistema sandwich box. Yes it's plastic but the kids have had the same one each for many many years.....they wash, hold a sandwich together, and also take wraps, or bread sticks, veggies sticks etc....

They also work quite well for wrapping wraps. They are quite sturdy. They have them on groupon sometimes. The beeswax ones.
