How many units do you drink and how much is too much ?

The nhs limit is apparently 14
How many do you drink and over what amount is too much ? 14? Or is that a low amount to have as a guide
What is the ‘real’ upper limit where it becomes a problem or danger to health ?

I usually open a bottle of wine to cook with once a week, then drink the rest of it over 2-3 nights.
I found an app - but cant remember what it was- that says that puts me as drinking more than 2/3 of women.
At around 10-12 units per bottle, I guess most drink less than the NHS guidance.

I forget how units work, but know I have too many. I had a smear test a while back, and they asked me to calculate what I have a week. I came in at a high risk. I'm struggling to cut down though.

Ok Thankyou this is really helpful
Someone close to me drinks too much I think and I was just wondering if the nhs guide was over cautious but from googling the drinks they have I think they are way over the amount that is ok

The worrying thing is for the amount they never appear drink or even slightly tipsy which I find concerning
