Please recommend me a cordless vacuum

My cylinder Miele of 16 years has finally packed up and I'm after a cordless vacuum.
I'd like it to have good suction and light if possible. Any recommendations gratefully received.
Also can't really go over £350 ish I think.

Beko do one now. I can’t remember how much it is, but not £££ like the Dyson. It’s supposed to have 40 minutes run time and the reviews say it does to start with, but not always. I probably wouldn’t spend 40 minutes anyway. I’d vacuum downstairs, do something else whilst it charges and thrn finish the rest.

John Lewis do an own brand one. It gets good reviews and I'm seriously considering it.

I'm on my second gtech. I really like them. I have the pet one which has great suction. Tried the shark (which gets recommended on here all the time) but I found it too light at the bottom and tok heavy at the top, and awkward to push around so I sent it back.
