Building resilience at work

I always thought I was quite resilient but turns out I'm not. Had a bit of mildly stroppy push back from someone on one of my projects. It's made me feel terrible like I've done something wrong when I haven't. I suspect this won't be the last time I get push back and people being firmer than I'd like so how do I learn to deal with it, let it go when it doesn't matter and not let it get to me?

Being firm and being stroppy are very different things. Can you give an example of what they said?

It is something I occasionally struggle with too.

Watching with interest as someone with chronic imposter syndrome.

Turned out great had absolutely no resilience and work, teaching. We'll, I may have had at one point, but I wore it out.

My best advice would be to to talk to a line manager. Ask for some training, support, as appropriate. It's part of their job and it will improve your work!

Best of luck.

I take things better if I am not tired. Regular and adequate sleep is important.
