waterproof trousers

Kicking myself that I didn't get some from Lidl when they were a special buy the other week!

Anyway, looking for waterproof trousers for a nearly 3 year old please, any recommendations?
I've had in the past the regatta pack away but think they will rip easily as they're only thin. I'm looking for something a bit thicker, not necessarily lined.
Already have a fleece lined snow suit but I can't see my little one wearing it (ASD and clothing is a real battle at the minute).
Thanks all Grin

I bought these from Aldi this weekend. You can order online. They’re ski trousers and generously sized so the 3-4 will last you a long time.

But they were perfect on Sunday for keeping my 4 year old warm in the cold wind and dry when out in damp woods

I like the caretec dungarees on Amazon. They've managed to survive the worst of being well trashed on various woods walks. And if you put them on the outside of wellies then mud/puddle water e.t.c rarely gets in. Unless you're DS and you're going hell for leather in the puddles.

However, they are very generously sized!

I was expecting muddy puddles to be recommended.
He will be three in January, I was going to go for a 4-5 or do you think they will b too big?

Yes definitely

Sorry to clarify is that yes 4-5 is too big or yes order the 4-5?
I’ve looked at the caretec ones but unfortunately I don’t like the braces style of them :(

I’d say unless your almost 3 year old is exceptionally tall then they’d be too big.

My almost 4.5 year old is quite petit for her age, she’s just over 100cm and the 4-5 Aldi ones are really big on her but I just tuck the legs into her wellies.

@Monkeypeas thank you for your help :)
