Tips for falling asleep?

Every night, I struggle to sleep. Every mornings big, i struggle to wake up.

Any tips for falling asleep?

Bed time routine, no screens an hour before bed, read for about 20 min in bed. No caffeine after 2pm, including choc, avoid takeaways as well. Avoid alcohol.

I would also recommend a nytol once a night- blue package for 3 nights in a row to restart your sleep habit.

Epsom salts bath. Increased magnesium in your diet.

Also, no idea why this works, when lying in bed in the dark with eyes closed try really hard to focus on backs of your eyelids. It sounds like I am joking, it does work. Maybe as it brings the awareness back into the body rather than lots of thoughts.

I agree with OverTheRainbow88 - go bed at the same time and get up at the same time.

It also helps to get up as soon as you wake up... no snoozing or falling asleep again!
If you can't go to sleep straight away, don't give into temptation and pu lights on or get up... literally cout sheep instead!
