Posting for a quick answer

I bought some fresh truffle pasta and just realised the best before date was yesterday (15th). It’s been in the fridge the whole time. Could I cook it tonight ?

I would. It's only 1 day.

Yep. It will be fine

Yes. Best before means just that.

best before = fine if it passed the sniff test

Thanks all.

Usually I would eat but I’m unsure as it has truffles. Not sure wether that makes a difference

if it wasn't fine (sniff test pending) the pack would say 'use by'
