Apologies if this is a really stupid question. A lot of hairdressers in particular I know seem to be leaving the salon they worked at to start out alone or open another salon. I know they are self employed and rent a chair. My guess is it's to do with Covid that the salon owner still wants rent even though they are not technically working?
The salon I used to go to 7 out of 10 of them have left. Three of them including my favourite have started their own salon together so it looks like I will be following them. I also follow quite afew other salons on social media and I keep seeing staff announcing they are leaving.
I feel to nosey to ask them so thought I would ask on here
