I am a Mum at my wits end. We had my mother in law living with us from when my daughter was three months old and she recently moved out after the first lock down. Since then my daughter has upped her days at nursery from 2 to 3 days a week. In the past few weeks my daughter has become very clingy to me and is a struggle to go into nursery.
Staying home is not an option for her right now as I am a student and dad works all week.
My heart is broken that she is so unhappy. Does anyone have any advise on how I could help her with this?

Separation anxiety is a phase that lots of babies and toddlers go through. The NHS website has some helpful pointers:

I'm not sure that it's helpful to you to think about it in terms of mental health; it's a developmental thing.
