I have been having gallbladder problems for around 18 months, been hospitalised twice with upper right quadrant pain, and had a few attacks at home which I haven’t been to hospital for. Was supposed to have surgery in June which was cancelled due to covid.
Last time I went to hospital my ultrasound showed no gallstones 🤷♀️ Yet the pain is always in the same place, starts in the middle and ends up in the upper right.
I’ve been having some discomfort for about 12 hours, couldn’t put my finger on what was wrong, around 6pm I was in agony crying and Dh was debating on calling an ambulance, lasted about 45 minutes, I felt sick, I wasn’t sick but I wretched a lot, I’ve had a really bad stomach, I’ve taken some co codamol and the pain is around a 5/6 where as earlier it was 10+, this attack hasn’t come with the eggy burps I’ve had previously. My heart rate went crazy (thank you iwatch) my temp dropped to 33.7 I still feel really weird and shaky, and slightly stoned from the codine.
Dh said he thinks I need to get checked out ASAP but I’ve said I’ll call my Gp in the morning. He did say if I end up like I was earlier he would be phoning 111/for an ambulance.
I’m just fed up and curled up in bed with a hot water bottle feeling like absolute crap. I can’t take anymore pain killers for another hour. I just want this to end.
