I’m crap at wrapping

Honestly it looks like my 10 year old has wrapped the presents this year!

I’ve tried everything, different paper, different sellotape, even the shape of the gift has no bearing on how well it will be presented! The corners rip, the paper doesn’t fold nicely, it isn’t even. Honestly it’s just a mess.

It’s all done for this year now, any tips for next year?

I'm quite good at wrapping neatly. DH always takes the piss because he's terrible at it. I do my gift wrapping much like but I don't bother with trying to hide the tape, I just try to place it reasonably neatly.

Alternatively you could try , a Japanese style of wrapping using cloth.

Card Factory is good for plain red/gold/silver holographic gift bags. It's usually something like 4 for £1 - various sizes including really big.

I tart them up with tissue paper/shredded sparkly stuff and bows.

Like pp we keep them and reuse them!
