Being made redundant end of Jan !!

Hi

I have worked in my local supermarket for 8 years it is closing end of January so won't have a job after that !!
Looking around for jobs nothing

Being made redundant sucks, I'm sorry to hear this.

The good news is that you have some notice, so you have time to find something else. There are jobs out there.

Make sure that you have an up to date CV, and register with agencies so that they can do some of the work for you. If you aren't on LinkedIn already, set up a profile and put it as you are open to work.

Get your cv on the main job websites too.

Network with everyone you can - I was made redundant at the start of lockdown, and found a job through an old colleague.
