We have loved Merlin, but have very sadly just finished the last episode. What would you recommend to watch next? Family friendly for 10 and 12 year old. We have prime and netflix as well as 'normal' TV. We have also recently enjoyed The Sarah Jane Adventures, Hetty Feather, and Wolfblood. Any ideas??

His Dark Materials. Second series has just started so I assume the first would be on iPlayer.

Dirk Gently. We absolutely loved it as did our then 12 year old.

Also His Dark Materials on BBC.

I think most children will have devoured Alex Rider by age 10. It is on Amazon Prime.

Pringlemonster · 15/11/2020 21:46

Dr Who. My DS loved Merlin, and then discovered Dr. Who. And my bf is also a fan.

Atlantis. It's a few years old now but is on IPlayer. It works through the Greek myths and is good fun, quite tongue in cheek.

midsomermurderess · 15/11/2020 23:16

I think it was commissioned to replace Merlin.

These are absolutely brilliant suggestions, thank you everyone :) I think we are going to start with His Dark Materials, and then work our way through the list!
