Where to donate good quality DVDs?

Long story short, but we have about a fifty of them, some of them still in the shrink wrap. Mainly family friendly.

I really need them out of the way quickly. If anyone has any ideas, I'd be grateful. Otherwise they are going to have to go to landfill. Really don't want to hang on until charity shops open up (most aren't accepting donations) and don't have time to sell.

Really grateful for all ideas.

A friend of mine works at an adult mental health facility (where people stay long-term) and they are always asking for family-friendly DVDs for the patients. Worth checking if there's anywhere similar near you? They might not take them at the moment though, as a guess 😬

If you have Harry Potter I would buy them from you!!! Desperately missing charity shops :)

I know you said donate but have you tried places like music magpie? I just got rid of a load through there, some they didn't want, some they gave me pennies for but better than landfill.

Do you have an Oxfam bookshop? Ours sell DVDs and I still buy them.

The British Heart Foundation take postal donations, OP. Go onto the BHF website, request a free postage label, stick that into a box or bag or stuff, and rake it to a CollectPlus collection point. I have done it three times now. Very easy and my nearest collection point is in Tesco where I’d be going for food shopping anyway.

Re BHF, they email you the label and you print it out.
